Book with Destify! They have your back and check in so frequently, I’m so thankful for them!

How was your ceremony, and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

There were a few glitches, but we made the most out of everything as it was our special day. Our ceremony and reception were on the beach.

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

The views!

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

We got a couples massage, mani & pedi, and a complimentary hair gift card, which was kind. Our room also had a bottle of champagne, rose petals, and an Aruba aloe gift post-wedding.

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

The castle-like structure.

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

I’ve been to Aruba for 20 years, so I wasn’t too nervous. Destify helped do the negotiating and booking of the wedding, which was amazing versus going through the hotel.

Knowing what you know, would you do a destination wedding again?

Yes, but I would buy a plane seat for my dress!

Lastly, do you have any advice for future couples?

Do the destination wedding! It turns into a week of fun, especially if you do a welcome or farewell party like we did! Research your hotel thoroughly, ours wasn’t as honest about some things with Destify that we would’ve preferred to know, so take that into account (example: the hotel was under major construction).

Lastly, book a seat for your dress! We flew United, and there were no closets for the dress. Thankfully, I was able to take up a whole overhead bin, but that’s not always the case!
