I told Destify what exactly I was looking for as far as price range and an updated resort that was nice and family friendly and they gave me a nice amount of choices to choose from.

What was your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

Walking down the aisle seeing all over our family and friends! Everyone was so emotional and happy!

What was your favorite experience at the wedding?

We ended up being in Mexico at the time there was a lot going on with the cartel and one of our photo vendors backed out so while I was sad about that I didn’t want to let it ruin our special day and our resort dreams natura didn’t let it ruin our day either and surprised us with fireworks which I originally wanted but they were out of our price range. It was amazing!

How was the experience for your guests, and what did they enjoy most about the wedding and destination?

The experience for our guest overall was nice who doesn’t like being out the country. There were issues multiple guest had with transportation which made things a little more complicated. But everyone enjoyed the resort and the resort workers were super helpful the entire weekend.

Looking back, what would you say to couples considering a destination wedding with Destify?

Do it! And don’t stress about it! I was very stressed because I felt like I needed to set up meetings with my planner and she was busy with other weddings so I thought my wedding wouldn’t be organized but when I got to the resort it was so simple and stress free and went perfectly!

How was your ceremony, and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

Our reception was on the rooftop of the hotel and it was amazing it was an up charge but I loved the location! It felt like we were in our own little space

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

Everyone was so nice and helpful. This will be a moment my husband and I remember forever! Looking back there’s nothing I would change about it!

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

We got a room upgrade which made it so easy for my bridesmaids to get ready with me and my husband got a room for the guys to get ready in and it was such a simple process!

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

The fireworks for sure! And we had all of our guest throw roses as we walked off from the altar and I thought that was a beautiful touch for photos

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

I felt stressed because I wasn’t there and I thought language barriers would be a huge difference but Destify helped me set up meetings and reach out to the correct people when needed and just calmed my anxiety about the unknown reassuring me everything will be perfect and it was!

Knowing what you know, would you do a destination wedding again?

Yes!

Lastly, do you have any advice for future couples?

Have fun! And stay connected at the hip (as much as you can) the day/weekend goes by super fast and you want to have the same memories and experiences so stay together the entire time! Which I will say was hard but we tried to remember that piece of advice and it worked out
